Attend the final event and party to be held at Blokart Recreation Park (Blokart Heaven) due to blokart relocating to Bay Park.
Teams racing is a lot of fun, with team scoring based on the first 3 finishes in a team of 4 or 5. We also do our best to keep teams even based on weight and ability.
One event not to be missed will be ‘the last hurrah’ at Blokart Heaven August 4-5.
Blokart have sold their land where the Factory and Track are (that whole area is being built out!)
The Track will be moved to The Stadium (keep an eye on http://www.baystation.co.nz/for updates on this move) and Factory will be just down the road from that.
The weekend of 4-5 August is down for ‘Teams racing’. This is always good fun as is is a bit different to usual. Teams of 5, # teams on track at once, the first 4 in each team count for points. It is all about blocking other teams and getting home first. There is always space numbers for mixed teams, so we don’t have to book 5 at a time. Let us know if you need more information and/or are interested.
Being the Last Hurrah, there will be a band, dinner and party on Saturday night. Mark your calendar, book accommodation and watch this space for details coming out. MBC is holding a mini regatta on Sat 29 September at their Sanson track.
Registration starts at 9.30am, Racing scheduled to start at 10.30am.
Entry Fee is $5.00 per person, plus $5.00 Track Fee for those who have not paid an annual track fee to our club.

The 2018 blokart worlds will be hosted by the Spanish at the well-known track of Binissalem in Mallorca.

The Spanish Open will run on the 19 & 20 October 2018 for those wanting to get familiar with the venue before the World Championships.

This is a 100km Marathon as we managed the 50km Marathon in June.
Two divisions, Light (<85kg) and Heavy (>85kg).
Trophy for winner of 100km race.
Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each division
Backup day is Sunday. We will pick the best day on the Thursday before the weekend.
