Wind for next weekend is looking like 13 knots NNE which is a bit light and wrong direction, so not too good for our Endurance race. It would be an endurance alright, it would be a struggle and no chance of completing it. We are remaining hopeful that it will improve before the weekend.
We will make the call on Friday night or Saturday morning.

We pulled off the Waitarere Marathon today in near perfect conditions. A nice wide beach and 20-33km NW was just what we needed for a great event.

We will try again for the Landsailing Kapiti Waikanae Beach 50km Endurance in November.

The Landsailing Kapiti Waikanae Beach 50km Endurance is postponed.
We have assessed the forecasts and it is not matching what we are actually getting, by a long shot.
Next backup day is 31 August.
Sanson is looking good for sailing today.
