Waitarere 100km Marathon this weekend?
I have been watching the forecast change all week. At present, the good wind forecast is at night! We need the forecast to come in early, or late. The good news is, the change in wind direction will flatten the surf and the beach won’t be a wash.
We will make the call Friday night to whether we sail Saturday, Sunday, or postpone.

The Capital Blokart Club Waitarere 100km Marathon is postponed due to unfavourable weather conditions.

We were hoping it would get better, but it has got worse. Marathon next date is 26th May.

The Capital Blokart Club Waitarere 100km Marathon is postponed due to unfavourable weather conditions.

Marathon Winners!
The annual Landsailing Kapiti Waikanae Beach 50km Endurance race was a great success yesterday. The marathon event was run in almost perfect conditions with a clean beach and 20-30km NW wind. The winners completing the 50km in 1 hour and 10 minutes.
